Day 1: Arrival Hanoi.(D)
Upon arrival in Hanoi, our representative/tour guide will meet and greet you at the airport in Hanoi City and transfer to your hotel in downtown. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hano (B. L. D)
After breakfast, enjoy our sightseeing of Hanoi city to enjoy the essential sites including The Ho Chi Minh Complex and The Temple of Literature, the Museum of Ethnology, Ngoc Son Temple and picturesque Hoan Kiem Lake. To complete the day, take a cyclo tour through the historic Old Quarter and explore the many markets streets dedicated to a variety of local wares.Then, enjoy a traditional water puppet show for sampling this Vietnamese unique art of water puppet performance. After the 1 hour performance, join your guide and tantalize your taste buds with the traditional flavors of Vietnamese food and enjoy a complimentary dinner, courtesy of Vietnam tourism JSC and transfer you to the station to catch night train to Sapa. Overnight on the train.
Day 3: Sapa. (B, L)
The train arrives in Lao Cai at 05:00 am. Drive uphill to Sapa. At an elevation of 1,500 meters, Sapa is the former hill retreat for French administrators when the heat in plain became unbearable. The remoteness and simple lifestyle of ethnic minorities are a highlight of Sapa although conditions are very basic. After checking into hotel and having breakfast and start trekking down to Lao Chai village to visit the Black H'mong. Have a picnic lunch on the way then keep going along the valley to get to Ta Van village to visit the Dzay people live, which supposed to be the most friendly one in mountainous area. The next is Giang Ta Chai village of Red Dzao tribe where you will see the amazing scenery and beautiful waterfall. In the afternoon, you get back Sapa Town for free to discover Sapa Market and stay overnight in Sapa Town
Day 4: Lao Cai - Hanoi. (B), (L).
After breakfast in Sapa, you leave Sapa Town for Bac Ha Town to join Sunday Market with local people. Bac Ha is considered one of the most wonderful and colorful markets in extreme north Vietnam where thousands of local people in their traditional attire buy and sell the local products. Dogs, cats, pigs, horses are all on sales. This is a golden opportunity to take your best photos! In the afternoon, we will take a pleasant walk to Ban Pho village, home to the flower H'mong people. This is a great opportunity to interact with the friendly locals and have pleasant walk amongst tribal villages. Leave Bac Ha Town at 3:00 pm for Lao Cai Railway Station. Take night train, which departs about 7:30 am. Overnight on the train.
Day 5: Hanoi - Halong. (B), (L), (D).
Pick up at the station at 06:00 am and transfer to Halong Bay by approximately 3 hours drive through the rural villages of northern Vietnam. Halong Bay is the most beautiful place in Vietnam. It’s also the most famous World Natural Heritage in Vietnam. HalongBay comprises 1,969 islands of various sizes, 989 of which have been given names with extraordinary shapes. we board our Chinese-style junk boat (or Western-style junk) for an overnight cruise on stunning Halong Bay - the perfect opportunity to explore limestone caves dotted around the bay, soak up the sun on the top deck, swimming or go kayaking. Tonight enjoy some fresh seafood with the group for dinner before settling in to your air-conditioned cabin on board the junk.
Day 6: Halong – Hanoi. (B, L)
Breakfast will be served on board. Enjoy sun rise in the morning from the top of your boat. We then visit Surprise Cave before cruising back to the main harbour for your drive to Hanoi. Then we cruise back to port and return to Hanoi, Arrive Noi Bai Airport (Hanoi) at 3:00 pm. Catching flight to Hue City. Arrive Hue City, transfer to hotel for check in. Overnight in Hue
Day 7: Hue - Old Imperial City.(B, L)
Spend full day to visit Hue City, Vietnam's political capital from 1802 to 1945 under the 13 emperors of the Nguyen Dynasty. Traditionally, the city has been one of Vietnam's cultural, religious and educational centers. Visit the Imperial City, which is located in the Citadel. Modeled after the Forbidden City in Beijing, the Imperial City was built in the early 19th century. Explore the Thai Hoa Palace, with its spacious hall and ornate roof of huge timbers supported by 80 carved and lacquered columns. See the Halls of the Mandarins, the Nine Dynastic Urns and the site where the Forbidden Purple City once stood. Overnight in Hue City.
Day 8: Thien Mu Pagoda.(B, L)
Just outside Hue, visit the Thien Mu Pagoda on the bank of the Perfume River, which was a hotbed of anti-government protest during the early 1960s. Next, visit the complex of the Tomb of Emperor Minh Mang, built in 1840, which is known for its magnificent architecture and elaborate decorations and is considered one of Hue's most beautiful pagodas. After lunch at a local restaurant, visit Tu Duc Tomb, which was built for meditation, reading and theater performances in a tranquil setting of forested hills and lakes. Your final stop is at Khai Dinh, the last monument of the Nguyen dynasty. It has a remarkably long staircase flanked by dragons, ceiling murals and ceramic frescoes. Return to your hotel on the riverbank where your Art Deco inspired rooms are reminiscent of the 1920s and 1950s. Overnight in Hue City.
Day 9: Hue – Danang - Hoi An. (B, L)
We ll cross the high mountain pass of Hai Van where you ll have magnificent view of the South of China Sea. On arrival in Da Nang, you’ll have a brief visit to Cham Museum. After lunch, proceed to the UNESCO world heritage site of Hoi An, a beautifully preserved 17th century merchant town. Check in hotel and then walking through the ancient town to Chinese Assembly Hall & Temples, Old houses (16th century), Japanese Covered Bridge , Silk Street of Hoi An. In the evening, we take a river trip and you will enjoy the scenery along the Thu Bon River and the general view of Hoi An Ancient Town. It transforms itself at night when many of the shóp hang lanterns outside. We will transfer you back to the town and the rest of time at your own leisure. Overnight in Hoian.
Day 10: My Son Holyland - Hoi An.(B, L)
Depart for My Son to visit the Cham holy land – the World Heritage - cultural center of the former Cham Kingdom and referred to as the "Angkor Wat" of Vietnam. The Cham ruins at My Son are well worth the slightly arduous journey needed to reach them. On arriving at the My Son area and after crossing a bamboo "Monkey Bridge" you will transfer to a local jeep for the last spectacular 3 km bump and jolt along a river gorge. Back to Hoi An for lunch and rest of time at your own leisure. You can have relaxing at the beach or make your own exploration to the town for shopping. Hoi An is well know for souvenir shopping with great prices and also famous for its large number of tailor shops, so if you want to get a cloth tailor made to measure, this is the time to do it. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 11: Hoian – Nha Trang. (B, L)
Free at leisure until we transfer you to Danang airport to take 1 hour flight to Nha Trang City - "The Top 100 Best Beach & Bay City in the World" ranked by the Forbes and Condé Nast Leisure & Travel Magazine. Nha Trang is a popular seaside resort known for its palm-lined white sand beaches and clear turquoise water. Some islands in Nha Trang are paradise for those who are interested in snorkeling and scuba diving. Check-in and rest of time will be at leisure. Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 12: Nha Trang Tiver Boat Tour.(B, L)
Cruising down river and enjoying the village peaceful life along the banks of Cai River. The trip begins with a visit to the Po Nagar Temples, an outstanding example of Cham architecture, situated on Mount Cu Lao where you can have panoramic views of the surrounding. From here board the riverboat for the leisurely cruise cruise visiting Cu Lao Fish market. Take a horse carriage to visit a wide range of local handicrafts in production, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery that unfolds along the banks, experience and make acquaintance with local people in their natural scenery & daily life. Next stop will be a short visit to Pagoda Orphanage where it shelters and cares for over 120 abandoned, orphaned or street children. We will visit a family of local people and see a typical Vietnamese country house in the countryside. Transfer you back to the city. Overnight at hotel in Nha Trang.
Day 13: Nha Ttang - Ho Chi Minh.
Today is a free day at leisure in Nha Trang for relaxing and unwinding at the resort overlooking beautiful Bay. Snorkel or dive among the coral reefs in crystal blue waters, hike nature trails, cool off in your private plunge pool, indulge in spa treatments or just relax on the white sand beach and admire the unspoiled mountain and sea views and then you will be taken to the airport in Nha Trang to take 1 hour flight to Ho Chi Minh City, Saigon, the largest Vietnamese city. There are street markets, sidewalk cafes and sleek new bars. This teeming metropolis offers 300 years of timeless traditions and the beauty of an ancient culture. Pick up upon arrival and transfer to hotel to check in In the evening, experience the vibrant city lights of Ho Chi Minh City when you join the Bonsai for a memorable, two-hour dinner cruise on the Saigon River. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 14: Cu Chi Tunnel - Caodai Temple. (B, L)
Have a great day trip from Ho Chi Minh with tour to Cu Chi Tunnels and Cao Dai. Visit Tay Ninh, home of the unique Cao Dai sect which is a mix of Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism and Christianity. After lunch, visit the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, an amazing underground labyrinth from which the Vietnamese fought during the American/Vietnam war. Includes: (B), (L). Day 15: Saigon - Mekong Delta - Can Tho. Our one day cruise excursion starts from Ho Chi Minh with a drive to Cai Be – Phu An where we will board the Cai Be Princess at around 10:00 am. The tour will start with the visit of Cai Be colorful floating market. We will proceed by the visit of some local home factories such as rice paste making, rice pop corn, coco candies, and longans drying processing. The trip continues along the Mekong canals to Dong Hoa Hiep Island located between Vinh Long and Cai Be. During this cruise you will discover beautiful landscapes along the river and observe the typical Mekong delta rural life. Stops on the way can be made uponrequest for particular visits or photos making. These evergreen islands among the Mekong River still remain unknown to many people. Lunch awaits you at Le Longanier restaurant at La Residence de Phu An resort, a superb Indochine style resort. You will then a short walk along a narrow canal to an air-conditioned vehicle that will transport you to Can Tho. Stay at hotel in Can Tho for a night.
Day 16: Cantho - Saigon. (B, L)
Experience the variety of life of the Mekong Delta. Visit the bamboo basket handicraft village and admire the natural beauty of the countryside environment. Discover a vintage rice mill and finally come face to face with thousands of birds at the Thot Not bird sanctuary, one of the wonders of South Vietnam!
Day 17: Saigon – Homeward.
You will be collected from your hotel for a private transfer with your guide to the airport for departure flight home. End of the tour. Includes: (B).
